One night many sleeps ago, I dreamt no ordinary dream. During my slumber, I felt as if my soul temporarily left my body and was gifted with a guided tour of Heaven. Only a freshman in college, and with limited religious experience or biblical knowledge, I tried to piece together the elements of what became for me a life-changing dream. Since then, my encounter with God in Heaven has compelled me to spend the remainder of my time here in pursuit of better understanding the hope I was given.

Toward the end of my amazing dream, my spirit guides informed me that my visit to Heaven was coming to an end. I was so disappointed! I pleaded with them, but they told me the decision had already been made. I had to return to Earth because I still had more work to do there. So, here I am completing the work God has given to me, blogging my stories of faith, with his light shining brightly before me to lead the way.
In addition to writing posts for the Becoming Biblical blog, I currently have three works in progress: 1) A Biblical Worldview, a blog opt-in e-book, 2) Absolute Devotion, a 365-day devotional book, and 3) Into Heaven’s Light, a spiritual memoir.
The desire to communicate spiritual understanding, which I believe God placed within me, has led me to a passionate study of the Holy Scriptures. We live in a darkened and confusing world. I help my readers to know that by the light of God’s Word and his Spirit, we can rise to a new life brightened with clarity. I write about seeing the light that guides a change in direction toward a more contemplative and devotional life.
I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. Ephesians 1:18
